Tomika Coleman grew up in Akron, Ohio and moved to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University and remained a Columbus resident after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology-Consumer Affairs. Outside of being an entrepreneur in the beauty industry for over 20 years, she has held long term independent contracts with several major agencies and companies including the State of Ohio, Franklin County and Sedgwick CMS before striking out on her own to create Avid Consulting, LLC. She was also a writer and Content Editor for The Flypaper, an online publication focused on current affairs, social media trends, fashion and pop culture. She has a strong background in Writing, Communications, Social Media and Marketing. Tomika is a focused and effective communicator with established leadership skills and keen attention to detail. She is also skilled in using technology to improve business operations and generate additional revenue. These attributes have helped develop the unique skill set it takes to identify an ideal target audience, how to reach and connect with that audience and create meaningful and long-standing relationships that will grow your business and give your clients a memorable and impactful experience.
